Cozy up in this Parkhurst Heritage sweater. The retro design is a whimsical adaptation of uber-traditional Canadian images – the maple leaf, the beaver, and snowflakes. Produced in the company’s 96-year-old, three-generation Toronto knitting mill, this sweater is created with high-quality, sustainable materials. From both a style and quality perspective, this piece will stand the test of time. It’s a festive and fun wardrobe item that can truly be enjoyed throughout our Canadian seasons.
Parkhurst utilizes recycled cotton and polyester recovered from water bottles to create the yarn for their knits, helping keep millions of plastic bottles out of landfills. High-quality dye is also used to minimize water usage, and it is ensured that any water that flows out of the manufacturing process is as clean as when it arrived. This has resulted in the saving of millions of litres of water and the diverting of thousands of tons of fabric from landfills. Parkhurst was also one of the first Canadian companies to stop using fur, leather, skins and silk in their products.
